BVM 151st Gandhi Jayanti & 116th Sh. Lal Bhadur Shastris Birth Anniversary « 02/Oct/2020

Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, observed 151st Gandhi Jayanti & 116th Sh. Lal Bhadur Shastri's birth anniversary with immense patriotic fervor.To revere this day, a special virtual assembly was held to commemorate Mahatma’s & Shastri's life and teachings. The occasion was virtually graced with the benign presence of the esteemed members of BVM Trust Sh. M.M. Bambaji ( President ), Sh.K.C Maini ji (Vice-President), Sh. P. C Goyal ji (Secretary) and Sh. M.M.Vyas ji (Member) BVM Trust. Bhartiyans acknowledged Gandhi's doctrine of non-violence that led India to its glorious freedom.The assembly commenced with the rendition of devotional bhajan "Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram....." which filled the ambience with a feeling of nationalism .Torchbearers of BVM (USN) sung "All faith prayers" mesmerized one and all* .Dynamic BVMites got imbued with Gandhian values & thoughts ,they vowed to become responsible citizens of India . Sheikh Altaf & Simrain Zeba (VII) recited pious prayers.Mrs Sanjoli (TGT) apprised all about Satyagrah & non violence movement instituted by Mahatma Gandhi. She urged students to follow his footsteps and analyze the importance and value of liberty. Following Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, students of class V - VII initated cleanliness drive in their immediate surroundings eventually shared through videos.Budding poets
Sharanya & Pushp recited poems on the life sketch of Mahatma Gandhi.
Students of classes V-VII in their eloquence acquainted everyone with Gandhian quotes and messages.
On this solemn occasion ,Sh K. C. Maini ji extended his greetings and said that may the Supreme power bless all with energy & strength to withstand the rigours of the present times.
Sh. P. C Goyal ji greeted all on the propitious occasion and urged everyone to follow the principles of these iconic leaders.
Sh. M.M Vyas ji in his address acknowledged the relentless efforts by the mentors for shouldering the responsibilities of educating the students amidst COVID 19 pandemic by breaking all the barriers. Principal , Mrs Bandana Sethi encouraged students to introspect & march ahead on the path of truth and non violence and be the change they wish to see in the world.
